SEL4Youth: Building Resilient Leaders Erasmus+ KA153-YOU Project is an international project funded by the Turkish National Agency, coordinated by Eskişehir Osmangazi University, and implemented with our Ministry as a project partner. The project’s implementation activities were carried out by the General Directorate of International Organizations and Foreign Relations.
Within the scope of the project, training and capacity-building activities were carried out to enhance youth workers’ knowledge and awareness of mental health and psychosocial well-being. The project also promoted the integration of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) approach into youth work by facilitating the exchange of good practices and contributing to the development of youth workers’ knowledge and skills in this field.
The target group of our project consisted of youth workers, educators, social workers and professionals working in the field of social development.
The project contributed to the wider dissemination of programmes that support young people’s psychosocial resilience and established an important foundation for integrating the Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) approach into youth work through our Ministry’s youth centers and volunteer network. The project also aimed to ensure that its outcomes would serve as a reference for similar initiatives in the field of youth and contribute to the development of sustainable practices.
