Psychosocial Support and Disaster Resilience for Youth Project

The project was developed on the basis of the experience gained through the “Psychosocial Support Pilot Project in Earthquake-Affected Regions in Türkiye” which was completed in 2024. Following the inclusion of İstanbul and İzmir alongside the provinces covered by the pilot initiative, the scope of the project was expanded and it began to be implemented under the title “Psychosocial Support and Disaster Resilience Project for Youth”.

As part of the project, psychosocial support and disaster resilience activities are carried out for young people, with the additional aim of strengthening the capacity of relevant Ministry personnel. The project seeks to promote the psychosocial well-being of young people and enhance their resilience to disasters.
