The Mind Over Social Media: Innovative Training Development for Youth Workers Project, coordinated by the Department of International Projects of the General Directorate of International Organizations and Foreign Relations, is being implemented under the European Union’s Erasmus+ KA220-YOU Cooperation Partnerships in Youth Programme. The project is being carried out in Türkiye, Serbia, and Malta in partnership with Marmara University, the Turkish Green Crescent Society, Green Crescent Serbia, and AHEAD Malta.
The project aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of youth workers in addressing the negative effects of social media addiction on young people, while promoting digital literacy and the responsible use of social media. To this end, innovative training materials for youth workers are being developed and digitally focused practices are being implemented.
The project’s kick-off meeting was held in Ankara from 27 to 30 January 2026, and project activities are being carried out in cooperation with the Ministry’s Department of Information Technologies.
