The European Sport for All Games 2026 (ESFAG2026) Project, coordinated by the Department of International Projects, is one of the Not-for-Profit European Sport Events supported under the European Union’s Erasmus+ Programme. The project is being implemented during the 2026–2027 period under the coordination of Limerick Local Sports Partnership Limited, in partnership with 10 different organisations.

The project, coordinated by the General Directorate of International Organizations and Foreign Relations, is being implemented in Ireland. The European Sport for All Games, to be held in Limerick, Ireland, is an international sports and physical activity event organised every four years under the Erasmus+ Programme in cooperation with TAFISA – The Association for International Sport for All.

The project aims to increase participation in sports and physical activity, strengthen inclusion and social cohesion, and celebrate and share Europe’s sporting and cultural diversity. To this end, parks, streets, and other public spaces are used as event venues to encourage access to and participation in sports among people of all ages, ability levels, and backgrounds. The project also highlights sports as a universal value that provides equal opportunities for everyone.

The third edition of the European Sport for All Games, scheduled to take place from 6 to 11 August 2026, will feature traditional sports, physical activities, and cultural events presented by the participating countries. More than 250 participants from different European countries are expected to attend the event.
